6:02 pm	News from moi Canada Day BBQ was good DAMN the rain and Mosquitos. I am (starting tomorrow) going to help out the Mayfair Theatre. Volunteer but they are giving you free admissions for helping them out. I will be doing inventory of their Trailer films reels. OMG I am so excited. New Melissa show in October in CA I hope she comes back up to Canada so casketformytears can see a live and alone show. (Comment on this)

10:47 am	Melissa Tidbits from the Hammond IN show (tour next year) a few more tidbits from Hammond, IN: at the soundcheck and meet & greet, MLE wore a certain Great Wall of China shirt that i've admired in some recent razzi photos mainly due to its exquisite green leafy embroidery on the back. ;-) at the meet & greet, we got a little info out of MLE: * she's starting recording on July 10th. * John Shanks is producing the album. * because Fritz isn't available due to touring with Jackson Browne, Shanks is bringing in other musicians he's used to playing with. however, MLE is bringing Philip in to do "his thing." * she's not calling the album, "Fearless," because Taylor Swift has an album out with the same name. really! * she might call the album, "Songs of Fear and Love". *rhondda* Rhondda is so right He'll help make her album even better So Amber I say you come tour stalk with me next summer. An emotional moment with somone you had lost touch with or had a falling out with will help to fix the past and make your future look bright. **** OMG I so hope this is true a) I need $$$ and b) if anyone wants to apologize for something(s) they did in the past that hurt my feelings BADLY, I will listen, not get bad, just accept it and be VERY GREATFULL. I WORK at the Blockbuster on 183 Rideau st, and well anyone who WANTS to mend fences, well they know where to find me. So please I am in a VERY forgiving me mood. MLE said she didn't get to the hotel until 5:30 am this morning without her luggage after 3 cancelled flights (including a possible helicopter ride from Toronto). based on her comments, it sounded like they had to drive in from Chicago. a bunch of us held up signs for This Moment. MLE did most of the song for us, but forgot a good chunk of it. she said she's going to do it again tomorrow. Stay with Me (not Stay) was *incredible*. just the absolutely perfect vehicle for MLE to show off her pipes. damn, it was worth the price of admission just for that one song alone. *rhondda* Ok so what happended was I ran to the stage once the lights were down. So did everyone else. Security had his arms out and extended like when you say "ENOUGH" with your body. I got hit in the chest, and then grabbed and told to go back to my seat. There were 2 empty seats in ROW 2 so me and Ange sat there. It wasn't until she did I Run For Life that we were allowed to rush the stage. I had the setlist but I gave it to someone else. Melissa forgot the first line of Precious Pain and couldn't remember This Moment, so she only did like 1/2 the song. I though the cover and finally hearing Occasionally (get to cross that one off the list), is what made the show for me. Ange gave me her camera to film the cover, so I did but the trouble was, since I was trying to hide it from the secuiry nazis, I ended up filming the lights. But man the cover was so good. FYI Alanis was the VERY FIRST person to play there with 2 sold out shows in August 2004. So a crappy venue, but Melissa was good. Hopefully Binghampton is better. Tonight is the resheduled show, and I bet you like my first show in Gatineau,PQ, the second one (I am not at) will be better. casketformytears. 2:46 am	Melissa show cancelled Ok so ot rained REALLY BAD in Chicago, and Melissa was stuck there. So they postponed the Friday show until Sunday. I am waiting to hear word on my show which is tonight. Please don't cancel. I need this show like now. Night of the Living Dead was awesome but the Skunks I ran into on the way home were not.... 10:51 am	Friday random Ok so I tried for NYC tix, and I think I threw back a REALLY good seat. DAMN ticketmaster for having a shity seating chart. So nothing for me so far. I am deciding on a request for my Ani D show at Bluesfest, and I think I want either Crime for Crime,Untouchable Face or Independence Day. As for Tori shows I am still thinking. I mean she played the ULTRA RARE Just Ellen in 07 UK leg so I could ask for that, I also havn't heard EVER the following songs and I really wan to. 3:05 pm	Talking about last night Last night I went out to Barrymore's with Ashley my brother Matt and my friends Judith and James. It was so just ok. James was sick so he and Judith left together early. Barrymore's has changed. The owner (George) is trying to hard to make it upscale with bottle service and chicks selling shots. UM it is a college crowd who go cause they're broke and their is no cover charge. I just wasn't feeling it last night. As Ashely said I think that ship has sailed. Our 06,07 nights when it was just the three of us Ashley myself and her friend Stacey, were like legendary. We always had a good time and stories to keep amongst the three of us. "What happens at Barrymore's stays at Barrymore's. It was our little 1-2 times a month getaway. I miss this times, and sadly last night just couldn't top that. I loved though the drunk jock (u know big,tall,muscled thinks he's god gift to the world lol) who called me Harry Potter and the danced with me,after hitting on Ashley and Judith. It was like Tim all over again. I swear I keep meeting these Anne Heche guys they're in they're out lol. It made the night memorable to say the least. We left and went to Collection (free booze) and the Mcdonalds (UGH!) So all and all a good night lol. NOTE TO TORI AMOS WHY are you charging me $89.50 plus fees for your Toronto show I'm broke and could use a break. (Comment on this)

1:25 pm	LE THE GAMES BEGIN So I'd like to think I have ticket buying down to a science. In person is the best way to go and well that is that.. Today I was in HELL trying to get tix for 2 shows 1) Boston had to do online and NO good seats came up 2) Montreal I bought Row G and then I scored 3 single seats 1) ROW DD 2) ROW EE 3) ROW FF SO since casketformytears HAD a ROW DD and then ticketpro wouldn't let her pay for it I snapped it up for her. I took ROW EE for me (hey I'm doing all the work and stressing out here.) Row FF I bought for Ashley. I sold ROW G to my buddy Marc (he had ROW T) so yeah. Now I am figuring out if NYC is doable and waiting until close to the show to get a ticket for Boston. FUNNY ENOUGH, last night at work I found a crumpled up Chinese fortune cookie fortune. It said that great things were coming my way. So um I hope by thing(S) she meant a better job, money and good tix for any other show I am doing. (Toronto,Boston,NYC) (Comment on this)

1:54 pm	music musings DM lead singer Dave Gahan had a low grade tumour (wtf) removed from his bladder. The first show will be June 8th. I wish him well and hope that all of the cancelled dates can be rescheduled for those who had tix. Tori's tickets for Boston and Montreal go on sale tomorrow,and I am freaking out. I prefer to buy in person but as I've said b4 the Montreal venue uses ticketpro and no admission. So I either call or go online. (I am doing both to better my chances.) Wish me luck folks. (yay for 80's horror) I have non tori friends asking me where I am going??? (I'd hang with them) then do the show. Right now JUST 3 SHOWS Toronto,Montreal,Boston.
